Full job description
The candidate chosen is responsible for:
- Applying paints and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Filling cracks and holes with putty and plaster
- Applying wallpaper on other fabric to walls
- Covering exposed objects and surfaces
- Quoting and negotiating prices for the job
- Purchasing painting tools
- Applying varnishes and sealants for a long-lasting finish
- Ensuring a clean work environment
- Storing leftover paint in their proper position
- Understanding the customer’s wants and desires
- Blending paints to acquire desired color and texture
- Ensuring the project is completed effectively
