Full job description
The candidate chosen is responsible for:
- Estimating the order of ingredients and spice
- Preparation of cost and budget estimates
- Supervising the delivery of food trolleys
- Supervising the activities of staff who prepare food
- Keeping track of employees’ performance
- Maintaining a record of stocks, sales, and wastage
- Ordering of ingredients in the correct portion for kitchen staff
- Settling outstanding bills and monitoring restaurant cash flow
- Checking on customers to ensure food quality
- Identifying measures to cut waste and control operational costs
- Keeping track of employee’s hours
