Pincher Creek Co-op is hiring a Truck driver to carry out activities and responsibilities listed in the job description. Full job description
The Candidate chosen would responsible for:
- Fast delivery of goods to clients
- Ensuring that truck is in good condition
- Effectively plan routes to meet on-time delivery
- Ensuring safety of goods
- Ensuring fragile goods are packed well
- Carefully transport heavy goods
- Give detailed reports on delivery
- Process payments and receipts
- Notify the company of any accidents or Incidents
- Carefully obey rules and laws of traffic
- Ensuring that goods are correctly labelled
- Deliver goods successfully to the right address
- Possess knowledge of International, local or territorial regions
Ideal job requirement
The candidate chosen is required to :
- Have a driver’s licence
- Have good communication skills
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Have the ability to follow safety rules
- Arrive early to work
- Must be result driven
- Have a positive mindset and must be energetic
- Should be able to perform tasks quickly
- Must have the ability to work under pressure
- Should be able to meet deadlines
- Must be knowledgeably in the use of GPS and other navigation equipment
- Must be a good team player
Experience required
- The Candidate chosen must possess a minimum of a high school certificate
- 1-2 years working in a related industry
