Selection Process at the NDA
The selection process for National Defence Academy (NDA) is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). NDA & NA (I) Exam is held twice a year generally in April and September. Candidates who want to join National Defence Academy must clear a written examination conducted by UPSC. Eligibility criteria are as follows:
Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be between 16½ to 19 years on 1st July of the year of his/her appearing at the examination i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January 2001 and not later than 1st July 2003.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed the 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized University or Board.
